Operation of the enterprise from backup power sources

As a result of the enemy's strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, ensuring the operation of power equipment (including high-power motors) from backup power sources has become a critical issue for industrial and municipal enterprises.

In our recently completed project, we successfully ensured the uninterrupted operation of the aerator motor at wastewater treatment facilities during power outages. The ELAKS team implemented a project that involved the installation of a Schneider Electric ATV630 frequency converter and its integration into the enterprise's network.

This solution enabled the smooth startup of high-power motors from a diesel generator by gradually increasing and limiting the starting currents.

Additionally, we addressed a crucial issue for the client — aerator siltation. By implementing motor overload during startup, without the need to activate additional aerators, we ensured the necessary airflow through the settled sludge.
