ELAKS has completed the automation of a new water pipeline to Mykolaiv!

The ELAKS team acted as an automation contractor and in a short time implemented a full cycle of work - from design to implementation of a modern control system. The new automation system will ensure reliable and uninterrupted operation of the water pipeline, which is almost 70 km long.

Main technical solutions:

The ACS TP of three pumping stations is implemented on the Siemens S7-1200 platform.

- Remote manual mode - via SIMATIC HMI visualization panels.

- Remote automatic mode - from a central operator station with the WinCC SCADA system, which allows controlling three pumping stations and the entire water supply.

The 0.4 kV power supply systems are built on the basis of PrismaSet switchboards and Schneider Electric circuit breakers.

- Rated currents: 3200 A (VNS-2, VNS-3) and 6300 A (VNS-1).

- Two 35/0.4 kV GEAFOL Neo (Siemens) transformers are installed to power the 400 V pumps.

- Automatic input of backup power from diesel generators is implemented for uninterrupted water supply.

ELAKS has manufactured over 100 cabinets and panels (PLC, GRS, RIO, SHK, SRV, local control panels) in its own production facility.

Currently, final commissioning and testing by the ELAKS electrical laboratory are underway.

Thanks to a comprehensive approach, the ELAKS team has ensured energy reliability and uninterrupted operation of the new infrastructure.

120,000 m³/day of drinking water for households

50,000 m³/day for irrigation of agricultural lands

We are proud of the result and grateful for the trust!
