
Решение показано на примере работы АСУ ТП доменной печи №8, «АрселорМиттал Кривой Рог».
The reconstruction of the blast furnace complex involves automation solutions for the top and bottom charging systems of the blast furnace with loss-in-weight dosing; a casthouse with hydraulic and pneumatic drives that control the motion of taphole drilling and ramming machines, manipulators and titling troughs; electric drives for hot-blast stoves; various mechanisms in the central and peripheral operational units that supply electric power to the entire blast furnace complex.
PROCESS AUTOMATON STRUCTURE
The automatically controlled electric drives and process automation work as an integrated control system that manages blast furnace operations and includes the following components:
- two servers: during the checkout, one server runs the electric drives and the other controls manufacturing processes; after the checkout, their programs are merged and they become mutually redundant;
- 9 operator control stations: during the system checkout, 6 stations operate the electric drives and the remaining 3 control manufacturing processes; after the checkout, all 9 stations become available both for the electric drives and technological processes via client-server system;
- 2 S7-400H PLCs with hot backups – one for the electric drives that control the charging system with loss-in-weight dosing and the other for hot-blast stoves;
- 3 S7-400 PLCs that control operations occurring in other units of the blast furnace.
The reconstruction of blast furnace No 8 had the following operational stages:
- design and programming of the top and lower charging systems of the blast furnace with loss-in-weight dosing;
- programming of the hydraulic and pneumatic drives that operate the casthouse machines
- design of the hot-blast stove drives, electric components of other operational units, electric power supply for the entire blast furnace complex;
- design and implementation of the low-voltage switching equipment, delivery of the computing machinery;
- on-site supervision and commissioning.

Результаты и эффект внедрения АСУ ТП
В проекте повторены прогрессивные решения по АСУ доменной печи № 4 ОАО «АрселорМиттал Темиртау» и, кроме того, применены следующие новшества:
- система нижней и верхней загрузки и система весодозирования реализованы на общих центральных процессорах контроллера S7-400H, что сократило межпроцессорный обмен данными и упростило систему;
- разработана система управления гидро- и пневмоприводов
